MFA - Manage, Add and Remove MFA Methods

This article provides guidance on managing, adding, and removing MFA methods.

Access MFA Management

1. Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
2.  This will take you to a view of your current MFA methods. 
   
    

Add MFA Methods

1. Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
2. Click Add sign-in method:
   
3. Select a method to add, and follow the on-screen instructions.

• Set up MFA with a security key (YubiKey)

 

Remove MFA Methods

1. Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
2. Click the Delete link next to the method you'd like to remove.
   
3. Confirm deletion of the method. You may be required to sign-in again with MFA before deleting a method. 
    

 

Change Default MFA Method

When you sign into your account, you may be presented with different options depending upon which methods are registered, and which method has been selected as your default.

To change your default method:

1. Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
2. Select Change, next to Sign-in method when most advisable is unavailable.
   
3. Select your default method, and Confirm.
