Summary
This article provides guidance on managing, adding, and removing MFA methods.
Audience
This article is intended to be used by NLPS staff.
Access MFA Management
We recommend users have at least 2 MFA methods added to their account.
- Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
- This will take you to a view of your current MFA methods.

Add MFA Methods
- Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
- Click Add sign-in method:

- Select a method to add, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Some of the methods in the image above may not be available to all users.

Remove MFA Methods
- Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
- Click the Delete link next to the method you'd like to remove.

- Confirm deletion of the method. You may be required to sign-in again with MFA before deleting a method.
Change Default MFA Method
When you sign into your account, you may be presented with different options depending upon which methods are registered, and which method has been selected as your default.
Note: If you're using a security key as an MFA method, you will always be prompted for that first.
To change your default method:
- Open a browser and sign-in to your SD68 account Security Info page at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
- Select Change, next to Sign-in method when most advisable is unavailable.

- Select your default method, and Confirm.
