Instructions on adding a shared mailbox with New Outlook, Outlook Classic and Office Online.

Instructions

Select the version of Outlook you are using on the computer to add the mailbox.

NEW OUTLOOK

Select Settings, Shared with me to add a mailbox you have been given access to.

Enter the name of the mailbox and you should see it listed. Select the mailbox. (it should show automatically after some typing)

Select Continue

It is recommended to Restart Outlook

You will see the new mailbox listed in the left side of Outlook, under your mailbox.

OUTLOOK CLASSIC

Select File
Select Account Settings
Select Account Settings again

Select Change
Select More Settings
Select the Advanced Tab
Select Add to add the mailbox and type the name of the shared mailbox
Make sure that these two boxes are not checked but Use Cached Exchange Mode is checked
Select Apply

Select OK
Select OK
Select Close

Select File
Select Exit to close Outlook and open it up again.

The mailbox will appear below your mailbox.

OFFICE ONLINE

In Office Online https://outlook.office365.com/owa, you can open another mailbox and access the shared mailbox that way.
